Marine Corps Avionics schooling? Pensacola?
after boot camp and marine combat training, when you go to Pensacola,
Florida for avionics school 6-13 months,
is it true after you're done with that you'll have enough college credits
for an associates degree or you'll have an associates degree?
All credits you get from your Military training will count for credits under ACE.
These credits can then be applied toward a degree at anAccredited College
(that accepts ACE credits and most do,
but not all and not all credits may be accepted by your particular school).
Now, Embry Riddle (one of the leading aeronautical schools) will
Now, Embry Riddle (one of the leading aeronautical schools) will
usually accept ALL of them. However,
they will usually be counted towards required elective credits.
(and then there are the "upper and lower" credits differences etc etc)
You will still need to either take or CLEP the mandatory classes
like English using T/A though the Educational Officeat your Permanent Duty Station.
Every base you go to will have an educational office
Every base you go to will have an educational office
where it can and will be explained in detail,
when I retired the Navy was working with ACE
and several Colleges to smooth things out
and try to get a little standardization
for us Aviation Types to have our OJT experience
along with our Military Schooling count towards our A and P's or R and E's.
(FAA and FCC certs) I don't know how far along they got.
(but once again the ESO will have those answers)

(and FYI that is a Navy and Marine Corps Avionics School,
taught by both and attended by both under CNET)
The Marine Corp does not offer a degree granting program,
like the Community College of the Air Force.
What you will have is enough Technical credits,
What you will have is enough Technical credits,
but not your core class credits.
You will still need to accomplish those at a college.
Core subjects such as English, Speach, Math, History, Humanites, etc.
If you find a school that will accept all your Military schooling
If you find a school that will accept all your Military schooling
and give you credit for it.
Some schools will pick and choose,
Some schools will pick and choose,
ome will take it at face value. Just depends.
