US Marine Corps Promotions in MOS Avionics- Sergeant?

how common is it for Aviation electronics technicians marines to get promoted to Sergeant by their first 4 year mark? 

do marines get promoted faster than other MOS's in the Avionics field? 

I signed up as an Avionics MOS and was wondering if i'd be able to reach Sergeant E-5 by my first contract..

You could check the cutting scores for any MOS but they change each month depending on the overall need for personnel in that particular pay grade. If you can do 20 pullups and run 3 miles pretty quick and are willing to do tedious pointless courses you can probably make sergeant in 4 years. 

A note from personel experience, I was 3531 Motor T and the score for corporal was around 1550 when I was promoted to lance corporal. 9 months later when I was still 3 months shy of being eligible the score dropped super low barely over 1400 and a ton of my friends all got promoted with really shitty rifle and pft scores. 3 months later when I was eligible for promotion they had promoted so many 3531s to Corporal that the score jumped into the mid 1600s. It took me several more months before I had the score even though I had 285 PFT and expert on the range. once I was a Corporal and eligible for sergeant the score for sergeant was crazy high because they promoted way to many corporals. I ended up in the low 1700s which was good enough for sergeant in a ton of MOS's but the score for 3531 was in the 1800s so I didn't make it even though when I joined the score for sergeant was pretty low. You can never tell what the score is going to be when your time comes until it comes.
